When wanting to stay with a classic aesthetic, it is important to stick to mainly neutrals, and use color sparingly. Keep the larger components white or gold, and use the smaller accents to add color. White hydrangea and rose arrangements are synonymous with the ballroom aesthetic, however in this design, we chose to add in greenery to the flower arrangements since the venue itself was already very white. If your ballroom has a lot of color in the carpets or decor (as most classic ballrooms do), you can forego the greenery for more of an all white arrangement. Larger elements of the wedding were kept fairly simple, while we chose to go more untraditional with the smaller details like cocktail napkins, escort cards, monogram design, etc. Going out of the box on the smaller details will add personality in to your wedding while keeping that overall elegant aesthetic you desire.
