The occasion:
No wedding is complete without the proper sunday-after party. As is custom in the South, Lexie and Cole’s families hosted a celebratory Sunday brunch for all out of town family and friends before they all headed home. However, we gave this Southern tradition and untraditional twist by inviting all guests to show up in their pajamas! After a night of dancing and fun, guests were more than excited to be able to show up in their comfiest and coziest of sleepwear. The brunch was hosted at Cole’s family’s home in Fort Worth, and included a good ‘ole backyard barbeque for all the guests. Bonnell’s Catering cooked up all the classics- hamburgers, hot dogs, potato salad, mac n cheese, and of course plenty of bloody mary’s and mimosas. We customized all the plates, cups, and napkins with the Lexie and Cole’s new initials in their wedding colors- blue and white. After filling up on lunch, there was an abundance of sweet treats inside for guests to snack on- everything from pig cupcakes to deer head cookies! The last little surprise we had up our sleeve was a visit from SuperFrog- the TCU mascot (where Lexie and Cole both attended school!). The weekend ended with Lexie and Cole being surrounded by lots of love and well wishes for this new chapter in their life!
