The “Bond Girl Bachelorette” aesthetic first came about when my sister got invited to go on a bachelorette party for her friend and they needed a theme. The party was going to be on a yacht in Cabo, so they didn’t want to do any of the overdone themes we have been seeing over the past few years. They didn’t want to have anything like “the last fiesta” or “nacho average bride.” My sister and her friends also didn’t want anything that was too vulgar or with penises everywhere like we have seen at a lot of bachelorette parties in the past! So, we started brainstorming on what bachelorette aesthetic would work for a yacht/cabo bachelorette weekend, and that is when I suggested Bond Girl Bachelorette!
The Bond Girl Bachelorette aesthetic is all about encapsulating the trademark Bond Girl characteristics. When you think of a bond girl, you typically think beautiful, sexy, sophisticated, put together, and definitely not someone who would have a penis straw around their neck and a fur cowboy hat on (as fun as those bachelorette props can be!). The reason this aesthetic works is because it is still really themed and fun, without being overtly “wedding” or “bachelorette” themed. The bachelorette party aspect is subtle and not as in your face as it normally is. This aesthetic is all about keeping it simple yet sophisticated!
